WHO's JIM?

For all of my life there is one thing that has always made me happy — music. Whether just listening, writing lyrics, or performing, I have loved music for as long as I can remember. 
 
Before diving into music full‑time, I had a career in media and advertising. Later, my nonprofit work centered on social change, marginalized community support, and human dignity. I take giving back to others very seriously, especially the underserved.
 
In 2022, we lost our son to a complex intersection of substance abuse, head trauma, and mental health issues. This life-changing event reshaped my understanding of resilience, and the strength needed to move forward without loved ones lost. 
 

This experience also deepened my commitment to helping others. It’s infused my creative work with what I hope is a sense of being genuine, loving, with a solid sense of humor. 

 

Now retired from the corporate world, I’ve returned to the place where I feel most at home — writing and performing songs that speak to love, loss, humor, hope, and the complicated beauty of being human. When I hit the mark, my music is a reflection of a life fully lived: joyful, bruised, grateful, and always searching.
